Gardner wins the Keith Clitheroe Memorial.

After winning it back in 2015, Jonny Gardner has gone all the way once again to take the title of the Keith Clitheroe 16th Memorial Charity Trophy.

The competition took place at The Engineers Club in Darlington on Saturday, with players travelling from all over the North-East and Yorkshire. A total of 93 entries in the mens competition and some magnificent talent on the day.

Jonny defeated Scott Hunt in the last 8, before beating Luke Etherington in the semi finals to set up a cracking final against David Dodds.

He held his nerve to take the title and a chunk of the healthy prize money on offer.

In the Ladies competition, young star Beau Greaves had a tight game against Claire Stainsby in the final, but proved too strong for the local player to take the title.
