This weekend see’s the final four tournaments for the 2017 PDC Development Tour. The tour is for players aged 16-23, with the top two players at the end of the tour gaining a 2 year PDC Pro Tour card to compete on the mens circuit.
County Durham’s Adam Hunt is sitting in third place with £8,000 on his rankings, £1,800 behind Belgium’s Dimitri Van Den Bergh. Adam will need a strong run in each competition to make up the ground to gain his tour card outright.

Young Callan Rydz from Bedlington is sitting in joint 59th place in the rankings with £650 to his name. Callan’s aim this weekend is to make it into the last 64, to qualify for the World Youth Championships which take place this coming Monday.
The 2017 PDC World Youth Championship will be seventh edition of the PDC World Youth Championship, a tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation for darts players aged between 16 and 23.
The knock-out stages from the last 64 to the semi-finals will be played in Wigan on 6 November 2017. The final will take place on 26 November 2017, before the final of the 2017 Players Championship Finals, which will be shown live on ITV4.
