Relentless wins on the Bay.

BDO Gold Cup Winner Ryan Joyce was relentless throughout to take the title at Seahorse Whitley Bay last night. Another ‘Mad Friday’ competition with a fantastic 40 entries, with some great talent from around the North-East.
Joyce kicked off his evening whitewashing Simon Malpass 3-0 in the prelims, before whitewashing Kev Timmons and Geoff Murray 3-0 to set up a quarter final tie against local lad Anthony Hasson.
Hasson was the first person on the night to take a leg off Joyce, but bowed out to the Tyne & Wear man 4-2.
Ryan continued his fine form into the semi final, despatching Scott Hunt 4-0 hitting 3 180s in the process.

Rounding off a great evening, Joyce won 4-2 in the final checking out 129 to win with a 30.63 average. He racked up 7 100+, 6 140+ and a best leg of 15 darts with a highest checkout of 152.
