Three-time BDO World Champion Glen Durrant secured his two-year PDC Tour Card on Sunday afternoon in Wigan. ‘Duzza’ secured the tour card as he saw off Paul Rowley in the last 32 on the final day of PDC Qualifying School, Durrant knew heading into the final day that he needed a last 32 minumum to finish in the top 11 places in the Q-School order of merit. But, it wasn’t at all straight forward to Durrant who had to survive three match darts in his last 128 match with Matthew Dennant who missed three darts for a 5-2 victory, but Durrant came firing back in typical ‘Duzza’ style as he fired in a sensational 11-dart leg en route to a 5-4 victory.

Durrant then saw off Paul Rowley 5-0 with a 104.4 average which was capped off with a 130 finish to all but secure his two-year PDC Tour Card. Joining Durrant in the top three in the PDC Q-School order of merit was Jonathan Worsley, Adrian Gray and Carl Wilkinson. The rest of the tour card winners are yet to be decided on Sunday afternoon, but it;s fantastic news for Durrant, just a week after winning his third consecutive BDO World Darts Championship title at Lakeside.
